About

Building Philosophy

Four principles forged across 4 roles, a startup, and 6 years of building. Not theory — each one backed by specific decisions and outcomes.

Ship fast, learn faster

Speed of learning is the only sustainable advantage. I'd rather ship something imperfect today and iterate than spend months building in a vacuum. ShopClips went from idea to 50 paying brands in 9 months. Inc42 Datalabs went from zero to 50L+ ARR in 2 years. The market teaches you faster than any strategy deck.

Business outcomes over feature output

I measure success in revenue, retention, and unit economics — not story points or feature launches. Every product decision starts with 'what business outcome does this drive?' At ShareChat, CM1/CM2 profitability was the metric, not feature count. At Inc42, ARR and retention drive the roadmap, not the backlog size.

Build the team before the product

The right 3 people will outbuild the wrong 10. At Inc42, a 10-person team built a platform competing with Tracxn's hundreds. At ShareChat, a team of <10 managed 10,000+ retail outlets. I invest disproportionately in hiring and team culture because that's where compounding returns live.

Data informs, judgment decides

I build analytics infrastructure obsessively — 42 events and 136 properties at Inc42, audience overlap framework across 50TB+ at Viacom18, unit economics models at ShareChat. But data shows you what happened, not what to do. The best decisions combine data rigor with founder instinct.
